  • 1920s manager based in Tacoma, WA, USA, who represented Harry (Young) Ketchel, among others.
  • During the mid-1940s he operated the Homer Amundsen Gym at 719½ Commerce Street. Sept. 22 Tacoma News Tribune. (This may have been the Starlight Athletic Club.)
  • The Sept. 20, 1950 Tacoma News Tribune reported that boxing was to become a regular sport at the College of Puget Sound the coming school year, and that Amundsen was to be its first boxing coach. His three star amateur boxing students were to include future professional heavyweight Pat McMurtry (whom Amundsen would manage), Virgil Larson and Gary Featherstone.
