Ingo Lucchesi

Ingo Lucchesi (sometimes spelled "Inigo") was the late 1940s matchmaker at Homer Amundsen's Starlight Athletic Club in Tacoma, WA, USA--where Pat McMurtry and Mike McMurtry got their amateur starts. He later became the matchmaker for Tacoma's Central Boxing Club under promoter Paavo Ketonen during the early-to-mid 1950s. After Ketonen left Tacoma for Phoenix, Arizona, Lucchesi took over as promoter. He was a Tacoma and Seattle boxing promoter through the late 1960s.

Lucchesi was also an accomplished bowler, having participated in a number of national bowling tournaments in the late 1940s (if not later as well). Feb. 21, 1949 Tacoma News Tribune'
