World Boxing Hall of Fame Inductee

Jimmy Lennon Sr. (April 13, 1913 - April 20, 1992) was a top boxing ring announcer, particularly at the Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles. (His brother Bill was the father of the famous singing Lennon Sisters.)

He appeared in some 75 films, including Raging Bull and Rocky III. (IMDb credits [1])

Inducted into the World Boxing Hall of Fame, his son, Jimmy Lennon Jr., also became a Hall of Fame Announcer.
