"Joey Giardello looked forward today to a bout with Sugar Ray Robinson after winning an unpopular majority decision over middleweight Henry Hank in a 10 round bout at Convention Hall Tuesday night. Giardello bled from the nose and mouth from the 2nd round on and his body and trunks were spattered by the end of the fight. Hank, 9th ranked middleweight, fought in spurts and had Giardello in trouble in the 2nd, 7th and 9th rounds." -United Press International
