Tokyo's Korakuen Hall opened in 1962, and hosts hundreds of boxing and mixed martial arts shows per year. It is part of Tokyo Dome City, and is located on the fifth floor of a building that also houses saunas, batting cages and a bowling alley.
Korakuen Hall has been the site of many OPBF and Japanese national title fights, in addition to world title bouts such as the 2006 WBC 105-pound title fight between Rodel Mayol and Eagle Kyowa, and the second meeting between Noel Arambulet and Yutaka Niida.
