Majority draw

A majority draw occurs when the scorecard of one of the three scoring officials favors one fighter, while the other two judges' scorecards have the bout scored even. It is officially recorded as a generic "draw" on each boxer's fight record. (A notable example where this occurred was the September 10, 1993 WBC Welterweight title bout between Pernell Whitaker and Julio Cesar Chavez, in which one judge favored Whitaker 115-113, while the other two judges had the bout even at 115-115.)
