2007-12-22 : Peter Semo beat Chaurembo Palasa by TKO at 2:23 in round 3 of 12

  • Location: Nakivubo Stadium, Kampala, Uganda
  • Referee: Andrew Smale

Ugandan warriors ”Cobra” Abdu Tebazalwa and ”Boyz Boyz” Peter Semo were impressive in lifting Universal Boxing Organization world titles on Saturday December 22 at the Nakivubo Stadium in Kampala, Uganda.

Peter Semo also took things out of the judges’ hands and got rid of Chaurembo Palasa with a flurry of effective shots. Referee Andrew Smale from South Africa stopped the fight at 2:23 of the fourth, when Palasa was not punching back and getting hit repeatedly.

The new world lightweight champion, who is now an impressive 17-1, immediately, and publicly, challenged former world title challenger Justin Juuko:

“I want to challenge Juuko to a fight in March 2008 here in Nakivubo. It’s great to have given a good show to my fans and I am looking forward for bigger fights next year.”
