Ross Greenburg is most well known for his work as president of HBO Sports.

Greenburg started working for HBO in 1978. He replaced Seth Abraham as president of HBO Sports in 2000. Greenburg was allegedly pressured to resign in 2011 after losing the Manny Pacquiao vs. Shane Mosley fight to rival Showtime.

During his time with HBO, Greenburg won 51 Sports Emmys and 8 Peabody Awards.

In 1990, Greenburg won the Sam Taub Award for Excellence in Broadcasting Journalism Award from the Boxing Writers Association of America.

Greenburg was hired as a producer by Showtime in 2013.
