  • Shiro is the father and former trainer of World Champion Koki Kameda and contender Daiki Kameda. In 2007, Shiro was suspended indefinitely by the Japanese Boxing Commission for his actions during Daiki's title bout against Daisuke Naito. He was working the corner during the fight at Tokyo's Ariake Colosseum and was alleged to have directed his then 18-year-old son to fight dirty, which led to Daiki being penalized three points in the final round for various violations including picking up Naito and slamming him to the canvas.
