- Located on the east and west ends of the Bronx River between E. 174th Street and E. 172nd Street, the Bronx. (Also said to have been located at East 177th & Bronx River.)
- Used as a boxing venue during the 1930s. (Also known as the "Starlight Arena" in the very early 1920s.)
- NY Times on November 29, 1920 announced that new boxing club to open on Dec. 7th called the Starlight Sporting Club, 177th St & Boston Rd.
- It was in the process of being renovated as of the late 1990s. The renovations of Starlight Park were to include new ballfields, additional green space, improved access to the river’s edge, a buffer zone of trees blocking the Sheridan Expressway, and parking.
