Temuzin Rambing was the son of Indonesian boxing trainer, Sutan Rambing. He was an amateur boxer and professional boxing official, before finally becoming a promoter with his own promotional company, namely TR Promotions.
Rambing died on July 24, 2010, due to some unknown illness. He had been hospitalized for around three weeks because of a mysterious high fever. "The doctors have just found toxoplasma in my blood, but they are still analyzing there's another illness that may have infected me," said the late Temuzin Rambing a few days before his passing via a long distance call. Rambing left a wife, Anna Kadarningsih, and a 4-year old son, Kubilai Khan Zhuge Rambing.
