- 1913-December: Ten-round boxing bill passes.
- 1931-Jan. 28: Gov. C. Douglas Buck signs bill passed by the Legislature several days earlier to legalize boxing in Delaware. It provides for a maximum of 8 rounds per bout, and 30 rounds per boxing show. It also calls for the appointment of three commission for one, two, and three-year terms. Wrestling, already legal in the state, now falls under this commission. New York Times
- 1931: Professional boxing reinstated "tossing in the towel is a violation of Delaware's boxing code."
- 1931-April:Amateur boxing reinstated under the auspices of the Maryland Division of Athletics Association.
