Please stick to the facts. All your contributions need serious cleaning up, a job which I´m sure nobody is too fond of.--Wouter 15:10, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
When creating a fight page, remember to add the "fight code" at the very top of the page.
The fight code is the fight number (which you can see at the top of any fight page) contained within "fight" code tags, like this: <fight>12345</fight>
The fight code will automatically insert the names of the boxers, result, location, and date. You can then add other text and images. You can get other instructions and help here.

There is no need to go into all the fight pages and create internal links for the boxers and referees for that particular fight. The boxer and referee links, along with the judges, are already there when you insert the fight code. Creating links to other boxers besides the two who fought is okay, but your just creating dead links. A dead link isn't really helping anybody out.--Rowdytimothy 19:58, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
Officials, Date & Location & 'Flowery' text
You also do not need to list the officials, date or location, as the "fight code" automatically inserts this info. You keep inserting the obvious. Also, more importantly, your fight pages currently look like they are day-after newspaper articles rather than encyclopedia page entries. Please go back to all your fight pages and edit them accordingly. They should read like neutral, objective, matter-of-fact reports, minus all the flowery and subjective text ("served notice," "fantastic," "Costarican sensation," "great night," etc.) We appreciate your enthusiasm and contributions. But, again, these are not fans tribute pages, or newspaper articles. These are supposed to be encyclopedia pages. Also, I rolled-back your edits of Selcuk Aydin vs. Said Ouali because you inserted the obvious (date, location, etc). --Ric 22:12, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
Brunet Zamora vs. Peter Semo
The Brunet Zamora vs. Peter Semo bout has very subjective text that needs to be deleted or edited to something more objective. (It also contains some misspelling). Again, thanks for your enthusiasm and contributions, but please make your entries more objective. (Later edited by me.) --Ric 05:59, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
Thank You, Alexander
Moving fight pages
When moving fight pages please do not use VS, instead use vs. with the period Thanks--Rowdytimothy 18:07, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
One link per page is enough. The first time a name is mentioned (often in the title of the page- where it automatically is a link) it should be a link. Don't put boxer around the rest. Also don't forget the . after vs. when moving a page.--Wouter 07:31, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
