The Ring Titles
Ben: I think that Matt Tegen would be the one to ask about The Ring titles. --Ric 17:22, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
Ben: please address this question to JohnShep, the Wiki Administrator. He knows all about the software; I don't. Sorry. --Ric 20:05, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
Why the move?
I moved Ricardo Lopez vs. Hideyuki Ohashi to Hideyuki Ohashi vs. Ricardo Lopez because it is customary to list the champion first. Ohashi was the champion going into the fight and Lopez was the challenger.--Rowdytimothy 20:29, 24 March 2009 (UTC)
Name and records of the fighters in the wiki
Dear Sweetscientist, just wondering why you keep adding the names and records of the fighters in the "notes" section of the wiki. Whenever the fight code is inserted, it automatically creates the link to each fighters' page in the encyclopedia at the top of the page. It seems duplicative to add the following for example (in the wiki for Librado Andrade vs. Vitali Tsypko):
Let me know. Regards. --Reenthelawman 16:40, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
- I like your comment that our first concern should be for more correct information.-Drdatabox
Wayne Hedgepeth Gallery
You started a Gallery for boxing official Wayne Hedgepeth. There was only ONE photo, there needs to be more. Other main editors have recently complained about too many gallery's. The gallery page is NOT yet connected to the Main Gallery page. If you want a gallery for Wayne you need to search and find more pictures where he is working bouts that are on BoxRec and/or add some. Then connect the page so his name appears with the other galleries !!!! Cheers.
- I really have little interest in the gallery pages, however, it seems that some love them. By adding that link, it is my understanding, that if in the future someone does create a gallery for him, it will link the picture to it as well. - Ben
Human vs. Boxer Code
Hey, SS: great work you've been doing lately. I'm enjoying your contributions! Please use 'human' rather than 'boxer' code for ALL human pages, because sometimes a boxer became a promoter, referee, and the like. 'Boxer' was the original, and now old, code, while 'human' is the current code name. Thanks in advance! --Ric (talk) 20:32, 30 April 2014 (CDT)
Will do. Thanks!
