William J. Dees

William J. Dees, who boxed under the auspices of Goldsmiths Institute, was the Amateur Boxing Association (ABA) Middleweight Champion in 1897 and ABA Heavyweight Champion in 1900. He participated in the 1908 Summer Olympic Games in the Middleweight division, representing Great Britain, where he lost in an opening round match to Snowy Baker of Australia on a 2nd round KO.
