Bruce Curry, a four-time Fort Worth Golden Gloves titlest, a two-time Star-Telegram Texas Golden Gloves State Champion and the 1976 Western Olympic Trials light welterweight champion, was a runner up to Sugar Ray Leonard in the 1976 U.S. Olympic Boxing Trials. He is the brother of fellow boxer and world champion Donald Curry -- together, they were the first brothers to hold world boxing titles at the same time. Fellow boxer Graylin Curry is the middle Curry brother. Curry is reported to have had an amateur record of 315-11.
