The 1908 Olympic boxing tournament was dominated by host country Great Britain, which won 14 out of the 15 medals awarded. The British team was a combination of the present-day United Kingdom and the present-day country of Ireland, which had still not gained independence from the United Kingdom in 1908.

Snowy Baker of Australia was the only non-British fighter to win a medal, and the only participant from the Australasian team (New Zealand and Australia). Denmark and France were the other two countries that had boxers who participated, though none of their boxers won their first-round bouts.
