World Boxing Hall of Fame Inductee

Charles (Pop) Foster had been a former boxer, trainer, World War I soldier, and a longshoreman. By the early 1920s, when he was in his 50s, Foster was living in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, where he discovered and managed Jimmy McLarnin and Mickey Gill. Later he also handled Lee Ramage.

Foster was inducted into the World Boxing Hall of Fame, "Expanded Category" (Managers & Trainers).
