Dick Young

Dick Young (1915-March 15, 2001) was a longtime American boxing referee and judge. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Young began his officiating career in the 1940s working out of St. Louis. Young moved to the Los Angeles area in 1956, and would continue to officiate bouts in California until shortly before his death. Inducted into the World Boxing Hall of Fame, "Expanded Category" (Referees & Judges & Timekeepers)
