2010-04-03 : Omar Henry 155 lbs beat Orphius Waite 155¼ lbs by TKO at 0:37 in round 2 of 6

Omar Henry versus Orpheus Waite Junior Middleweight Bout

In a battle of unbeaten prospects, Henry knocked Waite down and out in the second round. However, up to that point, it was not a good bout. Waite had clear height and reach advantage, and jabbed from the outside in round one, making Henry swing wildly and mostly miss a lot, unable to reach or catch the target. At the end of round one and early in round two, Waite stopped his side to side movement and pulled up, throwing more power shots and heavier punches in front of Henry and trying to trade serious punches, also slipping punches well. However, Waite got caught low with his left arm down, getting hit in the head by a short right hand thrown by Henry using his shoulder in close which caught Waite and sent him down and out, rolling on the canvas until the referee stopped it at 0:37 of the second. Waite was not going to get up after getting hit full force on the inside and dropped, the bout was clearly over and clearly a KO, despite the TKO designation.
