Jack Reddick gave boxing fans a real surprise, last night, in the windup of a boxing show at the Rose Room Gymnasium when he stopped Art Allen in the first round. Reddick opened the round by landing hard rights and lefts to Allen's jaw, followed by a short right to the stomach. Allen tried to claim a foul, but this was disallowed. Reddick is every inch a battler and with proper handling should make a name for himself.
