World Boxing Hall of Fame Inductee

Jimmy Lennon Sr. (April 13, 1913 - April 20, 1992) was one of the top ring announcers in boxing. He was the ring announcer at the Olympic Auditorium for many years. He appeared in 75 films, including Raging Bull and Rocky III. His son, Jimmy Lennon Jr., is one of the top ring announcers today. (His brother Bill was the father of the singing Lennon Sisters.)

Inducted into the World Boxing Hall of Fame, "Expanded Category" (Announcers & Broadcasters)
