Amateur Career

Johnson claims a 14-2 record as an amateur and was a New Jersey Golden Gloves champion. In 2002, Johnson was defeated in the first round of the National Golden Gloves Tournament.

Professional Career

Kevin Johnson holds wins over former WBA titleholder Bruce Seldon, Damian Wills, U.S. Olympian Devin Vargas, and a three-round win over Albert Sosnowski in the Prizefighter Tournament. Johnson lost in the tournament final to Tor Hamer. In 2009, Johnson went the distance with WBC Heavyweight Champion Vitali Klitschko (38-2).
