Bout Summary

The opening round saw both superbly quick handed fighters come out tentatively each looking to counter the other. Apart from a few decent jabs, neither fighter landing to effect. Mosley went down midway through the round from a slip. A pair of big right hands hurt Mayweather in the 2nd and it appeared at one point that he may go down. He was able to maintain himself, however, until the end of the round. Mayweather appeared to have regained his composure and likely won the 3rd Round by stepping up his aggression and pressing Mosley. Round 4 again was a very measured round, with both fighters looking to land big counter-right hands. Apart from some nice jabs, though, the major punch of the round was a right hand by Mayweather.
