Thomas Hauser has authored over 40 books, including The Black Lights, Muhammad Ali: His Life & Times, and Chaos, Corruption, Courage and Glory: A Year in the Life of Boxing.

Hauser received the Nat Fleischer Memorial Award from the Boxing Writers Association of America in 2004.

Lennox Lewis said, “A hundred years from now, if people want to learn about boxing in this era, they’ll read Thomas Hauser.”
