Re: GIVE JAMES BROAD A SALUTE..........

Yes, James was my friend.. I was heartbroken when he passed.. He really was a very good heavyweight.. I was at the Tucker fight, and a few of his later bouts.. The night he beat Eddie Gregg was really a nice feeling because a lot of people wrote him off, he was better than his physique appeared.. it...

Greg page record..

I know it's only a detail, but on Greg pages boxing record, his bout with James Broad has the comment, Broad knocked down in the 3rd.. Broad wasn't knocked down or even hurt in that round.. It's incorrect.

When Mike Tyson climbed to prominence in 86 he boxed for 2 years approximately once every 3 weeks.. He was facing former Heavyweight championship challengers like Tillis and Marvis , along with cruiserweight world champ Alfonso Ratliff.. Its a shame the heavyweights today haven't a fighting ethic li...

Clifford , Holyfield thinks that he is way and above everyone else on earth right now because he has a vengeful desire on being hell bent on regaining the titles even if he lost to Sultan last month. I say go via a different route.. Leave Holyfield alone , he is on his own ledgendary cloud.. approac...

Clifford, I think a few people are taking the piss out of your reference to a white actor.. They know who you mean.. You would love the rematch with Michael Moorer... Michael would probably take you up on the rematch if you addressed him personally, after all the guy he just disposed of abroad Rick ...

Akinwande.. Very dangerous champion.

Henry Akinwande was based in Britain from day 1, he moved to the united States around the time he faced Tony Tucker to establish himself properly on the world scene, he was due to box Zolkin for the title years before the two actually met.. He ended up facing Jeremy Williams for the Vaccant WBO and ...

Re: Herbie Hide

The records have him down as a cruserweight and he never fought at that weight in his career. Herbie turned pro as a 188 lb cruiser in London with a win over Lee Williams in 1989. He never weighed more than 196 & 204 until his 10th & 11 th fights with David Jules of Doncaster and John Westg...

MARCIANO... What did he really do?... aside from being unbeaten he only fought about 6 or 7 world class fighters, (most of them when he was champ) and most of them were over 35 and past their best and/or natural light-heavies... Rocky deserves respect for his guts and strength but at the end of the ...
