Re: Moses Itauma v Dillian Whyte
Dillian Whyte was already shot af before this fight. I don't remember the number of times he's been knocked down in his career, but it's gotta be nearing like 10 times now. All this talk about Itauma fighting Usyk is nonsense. Itauma hasn't fought a single fighter near the top 15, let alone top 10 o...

How I think the HW matchups and Usyk fights should play out in the next few years
So Usyk has probably about 2-3 fights left at most before he retires. Let's be honest, nobody wants to see Usyk in a 3rd fight against AJ, Fury, or Dubois (well, except for their promoters to make them the most money, but that's obvious). He would destroy all three of them as he did in the previous ...

If you're under 30 doesn't mean you're a prospect lol
Dubois is a heavyweight champion; he's not a prospect.

Re: Who could Crawford fight before Canelo?
I would say Fundora or Murtazaliev. Murta would be decent preparation for Canelo.
Other option just go up to 160 and fight someone like Adames or Alimkhanuly.

Solid fight. Exactly what we need at 147 right now with 4 champions. Now just gotta get Barrios and Norman Jr involved in a fight eventually.

He shouldn't even be moving up until he fights some of the other Cruiser champions like Ramirez and Jack.

Re: turki alalshikh .... What do you think of him ?
What's good about Turki is that he is a boxing fan. He's not some dumb Saudi guy throwing money at the sport; he actually thinks this shit through and picks fights that make sense, picks fights that are for legacy not necessarily the biggest money maker fights. Only fight that he is pushing that I d...

Re: Canelo vs Crawford bout(Coming to Fruition)
This fight needs to be at 160 with some kind of rehydration clause for Bud to have a chance. Making this at 168 is just absurd imo. I don't wanna see a legend like Crawford get brain damaged and beat fighting a guy the size he should never be fighting. Reminder that Floyd fought a much smaller and i...

Fury - Usyk I
It was a great fight and the event was massive (finally all four belts on the line in hw in how many years?)

Re: Fighter of the Year 2024
I would say Usyk, because he beat the other consensus #1 HW twice in a year, but Dubois honestly deserves it just as much for beating undefeated Hrgovic and Joshua in one year.
Also shoutout to Bam and Inoue. Collazo at Minimumweight as well.

Re: Realistically, which legendary HWs could beat a top shape version of Tyson Fury?
Tbh I think Fury is very hard to be beat. Its not just his size and reach but also his skills , his grit, the way he moves, his power and his ring IQ. The only names that come to my mind are Ali, Lennox and Bowe, that would have good chances to beat Fury. Prime Lennox would be hard for him to beat ...

Re: Usyk's p4p ranking this century?
To truly understand Usyk's greatness we need to reflect on what the overall boxing community mindset was like before each of the 4 fights he had with Joshua and Fury. Before each first fight there would be a story of how Usyk is too small to win. Before the first Fury fight there would be the argume...

Re: Vasiliy Lomachenko Retiring?
Even Usyk basically told him to f*ck off, and they aren't friends anymore because of Loma's unclear stance on the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Do you have a source for this? Loma was in the war, no? Fighting for Ukraine. Loma was never "in the war," strictly speaking. He supposedly joined...

Re: Vasiliy Lomachenko Retiring?
At 135 they just about agreed a unification with Linares who was GBP. He did fight Linares, but that wasn't a unification fight, that was Loma's first fight at 135 when he moved up. I was actually at that fight in NY. Loma did get a bunch of unification fights at 135. Pedraza fight was a unificatio...

Re: Vasiliy Lomachenko Retiring?
Lomachenko's ultimate failure to become one of the greatest fighters of all time is largely due to his own mistakes. 1) Lomachenko's first mistake in his career was signing with Arum during the Arum-Hamon wars. Arum was already a shit promoter and couldn't get him the unification fights that he need...

Usyk outlanded Fury on Compubox in 10 out of the 12 rounds.
People who think this was a close fight or that Fury was robbed are delusional.
A competitive fight but definitely not a close fight.

Re: Vasiliy Lomachenko Retiring?
I watched all those losses. Salido loss was legit; he didn't win enough rounds in that fight and got schooled for being too cocky. Teofimo beat his ass idk how anyone though he won that fight. Haney fight was 50/50 and the only one he probably should of been the winner, but that was a close fight tbh.

Re: List fighters with a better resume than Floyd Mayweather
The issue with Floyd's resume isn't the names he fought but 1) when he fought those names and 2) under what conditions he fought them. Floyd was a shrewd businessman and often fought other big-name opponents at a time when their career was on the decline. The only undefeated fighters he faced in his...

Do we need a Super Series Tournament at Welterweight to bring back the division? (Request for Turki)
147 division has historically been a great division, but these days it's on a serious low after Crawford moved up. Ennis obviously is a really good fighter, but I think it would make sense to do some kind of tournament to bring back interest. Ennis (IBF) Norman Jr (WBO) Barrios (WBC) Stanionis (WBA)...

Re: What's next for Usyk?
Just for historical legacy, I do want Usyk to fight in Vegas on a PPV at least once (and hopefully win). Practically all the ATGs have had Vegas fights on their record and it would be a nice touch. A fight at MSG would also be good.

Re: Usyk's p4p ranking this century?
If Usyk retires undefeated I put him somewhere above Andre Ward. Definitely in the top 10 in this century. Top 10? What would your list be if he's not Top 5? He probably would be in my top 5 tbh i'm just more confident saying top 10 at this moment because his career isn't over yet and neither is Cr...
