Re: Eubank Jr. How far will he go?
It was a split decision because Phil Edwards can't judge a fight properly, nothing to do with inexperience, he got his ears boxed off for 6 rounds because he can't box, he can brawl, but he has no jab, no straight right and no control of distance, just wild combinations. Murray, Macklin, Saunders, ...

Re: Eubank Jr. How far will he go?
You obviously are a typical boxrec man. Split decision?....that fight was set up for eubank to win. The big customised entrance, the fact bjs isn't marketable, etc, etc. The fact it was a split decision was a disgrace, I gave eubank at best 4 rounds, and phil Edwards cant score. Inexperience?.... I...

Re: Eubank Jr. How far will he go?
This. I didn't watch last nights fight so can't comment on that - however, at age just 25 with limited amateur experience and only 3 months after his first defeat he could have chosen a much lesser opponent for this fight. I don't think that he would have got too much stick if he had spent the next...

Re: Josh Warringtons Fans
They WILL spoil it for him. I'm not bothering with the April show because of them. imo it is because of them he is where he is.....fast car wouldn't be elevating that kid if it wasn't for the 10's of thousands of pounds in ticket sales he is getting out of him. And lets be honest those aren't prope...

power wise they are about the same, prime for prime anyway. skills wise ggg is way better. size however; pavlik is much bigger. Pavlik would have a punchers chance, that's all

lets all be honest they aren't at the level of the rest in the division.....Walters, JG, etc.
It may be a watchable fight but will end in a decision win for someone

Re: What happened to Iain weaver?
Alex Dilmaghani is a good fighter, re-located to mexico and has sparred a lot over there. JMM etc. I bet he's improved a lot over last few years, training with calibre of gym mate. Hopefully he starts his own career back up. I heard about that, he's with nacho now or something. I always wondered wh...

Re: What happened to Iain weaver?
A real shame that he couldnt get licensed by the BBBofC, which really held him back from making the progress he wanted to in the professional ranks. A really skilled fighter that could have gone far. Agreed. I spent a few years in southampton studying, Iain looked really good in the gym, and with t...

Re: IBF Orders BJS vs Hassan Ndam
I dunno how BJS even got into the title mix. He hasn't beaten anyone noteworthy, plus I saw the Eubank fight and he looked average at best. His only saving grace is that he's young and could potentially improve. Agreed. Bus looked euro level, jr British level. N"dam is fringe world class, neit...

Re: Ross the Boss WBO Eurpean
You're right about the opponent - he's never beaten an opponent with a winning record, and four or five of his nine victories have come against the same fighter (who had exactly zero wins on his own record). Still, as Dennis Hobson says, "It's a prestigious belt". That last line made me c...

Prospects training or fighting abroad
Any fighters that are coming up choosing or forced to fight abroad. I know of a few that in my humble opinion would destroy some of their British counterparts, given the chance?

Re: Fighter you was glad to see beaten.
Without a doubt Hatton brilliantly managed right through his career without really taking on a 50/50 fight then soon as he's does boom kod not once twice! but who cares he's loaded so the kid done good. Manny and Floyd !! Hardly 50/50 fights, two P4P current / greats. Aye, I don't think Floyd has e...

True, I do think Gavin wins this easily thoughpalooka wrote:Warren he done a good job with Gavin and Hearn has picked him up at a high level, he doesn't need to slide back though that Van Heerden looked plenty strong and capable v Matthew Hatton.

Re: Burns to get shot at Fig
Like most here I think Burns would have handled him easily a couple of years ago, but going on recent form this can only end badly for Ricky. With all due respect I disagree totally. Burns has had more gift decisions than Sven ottke. He beat a poor katsidas and Kevin Mitchell who blows hot and cold...
