You are forgetting one thing. Hatton has the coveted Ring Magazine belt as recognition as the best man in the division. That was when he beat KT - do Ring Magazine still consider him the Number 1 in the division? If you had to press me - my opinion still says he is - but thats an opinion rather tha...

Because Hatton has won more fights at top level and only lost to the greatest fighter on the planet!! Hayes superb though, he will be Number 1 way after the others are running the local pub He got a thorough beating from the top fighter in the planet - and yes there is no shame in that - but a lot ...

Hatton has proven himself as a champion against a P4Per Zoo, Massua, Collazo, Urango and Castillo. Two weight champion and has been on the top of the game for years.

I rate Haye but he only beat Mormeck in December!! Let's see how he does against the heavies before putting him any higher :TU:

You cannot feast on bums, binmen and semi-retired opponents for years and then suddenly make the jump up in class to someone of Haye's standing. Basically Enzo has gathered the fame & fortune without actually achieving anything.... Wheras Haye has been doing the correct thing making achievement...

Khan above Calzaghe or Hatton is ludicrous, even if it is UK only - Although he is indeed ahead of Witter :p I'm talking about name recognition amongst the entire population of the UK. Not sporting merit, not amongst sport fans and not amongst boxing fans. Khan is easily the highest profile boxer i...

I said all along GBP would sign him to be another subsidiary of GBP to indentify British talent. This is great for British boxing in the sense that up and coming talent will hopefully get more exposure earlier on in their career. Does this mean Macklin comes under his company now? Or Witter? ...

The golden three to be four?

Boxing in the UK has three stars that have recognition outside the sport. 1. Khan 2. Hatton 3. Calzaghe (in that order!) If Haye manages to win tonight, I think the Golden Three will become the Golden Four. The reasonings include being the undisputed CW champion, an imminent move upto HW and should ...

The rules of the WBC and WBA and for that matter the WBO forbid a 4pm weigh-in for a fight that is some 34hrs later. The rules re between 24 and 30 hrs of fight time.
