September 18 1978 - the World Sporting Club show topped by Charlie Nash v Willie Rodriguez was at Grosvenor House, not the London Hilton.

In both records this is shown as a KO - but as it was an eye injury (which is also stated) surely this should read TKO?

June 4 1974 - Evan Armstrong v Vernon Sollas. This is shown in both records as Armstrong winning in the eighth round of eight. It was actually scheduled for 10.

The June 26 1969 promotion featuring Dickie Owens v Phil Watford for the Southern Area light-heavyweight title was at Reading Town Hall, not the Top Rank Suite as shown.

This bout (which tragically saw James lose his life) ended in the sixth round, not the fifth (shockingly Boxing News got it wrong). I once interviewed the referee, Sid Nathan, and he showed me his scorecard (Lake was ahead by three rounds to one, and one even).
