The A Square tournament Novemeber 13-15 in Ann Arbor should be good if anything like last year. I would think you could get some good competition there.

I think if everyone enters, the State Tournament in Bay City could be awesome. We may lose a few guys to the pros after the golden gloves.

From what I hear him and his brother David, after not making the olympic teams, gave up boxing and went to college. When I've asked Ted how they are doing he says they are doing well.

I heard he had broken his hand, but it was fine now. This was after the car accident. Sounds like he's had a tough year. Also, I think they have been in the same location for several months now.

Kronk is no longer around? That might be a surprise to coach Sugar Hill, Craig Lewis, JLeon Love, and LeAndre White. They all seem to be doing well (except for JLeon's injuries).

Mel, any news on the AIBA venture into pro boxing? I'm not sure the 3 x 3 rounds will be as exciting as 4 x 2. I'm thinking of the conditioning of the boxers.

I don't think they need to worry about low scores at a junior tournament. Those young guys throw punches non-stop. Dennis must be thinking of the elite open class boxers.

I've heard Domonique Dolton is turning pro in March. He didn't box in the State tournament this year.

They follow all USA Boxing rules. I've not been a big fan of these shows, but I must say anything we've ever brought to Art's attention that wasn't right he has had corrected on the spot, no questions asked. He has been very easy to work with.
