Re: Derry Mathews Confirms His Retirement From Boxing
I sparred Derry at times when we were both at Oliver Harrison's gym, a really nice genuine guy with a good boxing brain who was always willing to offer advice and experience. All the best for the future Derry, I hope you stay involved in the sport, you will make a great coach!

You should do it in 3 minute rounds for at least as many rounds as you are training to fight for. 1 minute on the bar jumping over at a rhythm you can sustain for a minute then a high intensity minute on the bag then back on the bar fo...

Not really, lefty has been thrwn out and returned under different names about 3 times and the people from CS are moaning because their thread count got lowered, think one or two are on tablets through it; that's the last 12 months in a nutshell imo. I've been acquitted three more times. If they let...

Re: Howard Daley
Hya fellas, thanks for asking about me. I forgot my password and never got round to asking for a new one. I have missed the forum and when one of the Boxrec writers told me about this thread I thought it would be rude not to say hi. I have started training in MMA and had one contest at heavyweight w...

I reckon most people on here know who you are Lee and if the didn't then a quick search of past posts would of made it clear who you are. You are definately not an arrogant prick! I hope you are well pal and I'll see you about.

He doesn't hit that hard and I saw him fight zach page in 2009, he gassed when taken into the later rounds. I think he will struggle against anyone with a good jab and good footwork.

Sorry guys, I don't want to give my future foes any video to do their homework from. Once I have done a sky show or something and there is a video on youtube that I have no control over then i'll post me and Lee with pleasure.TerribleTerry wrote:x 2billy bessey wrote:any chance of posting a copy of the fight on here Howard?

Re: Howard Daley - Lee Kellet result
I was there for the fight and (unfortunatley i am good friends with both fighters knowing Lee from the amateurs and meeting Howard as a 20st plus guy who was sparring any local fighters or doorman in the northwest learning the skills the hard way) it lived up to expectations!! They both fought like...

Re: Howard Daley - Lee Kellet result
14st5.5lb mate a pound and a half over the championship limit but a wee and taking my undies off would have lost that. I think Lee was 14st8.5lb, he looked huge at that weight though. He is a big strong lad for the weight.DougieC30 wrote:What did you weigh last night Howard?

Re: Howard Daley - Lee Kellet result
Thanks for the interest guys, that was by far my best technical performance so far. Me and Lee have both shook hands and let bye gones be bye gones. I think it would be a cracking rematch over 10 rounds for a british masters title or area title. Everybody has said they thought it was a cracking tear...
