Re: What if you had managed Anthony Mundine's career?
If I were Mundine's Manager, his activity from 2007 - 2012 would have been a lot different that it had, and he would have perhaps been better perceived on his record on a global stage. Essentially Boxa saw Mundine as a cash cow and as such produced to throw out 10-12 PPV fights in a row where he fou...

Re: Browne's management may look past Oquendo - Haye? Fury? Wilder? Joshua?
Hate won't be interested in fighting Browne if his title is not on the line. Exactly lol. Didn't notice the typo before. Meant Haye....as in David Haye, not Hate. Don't know of a boxer named Hate but I'm sure there is one out there. Your wish is my command. But I have only found two retired Hates h...

Re: Browne vs Chagaev finally finalized for March 5th in Grozny
I really want Browne to do this. He has done it correctly, move away from Australia and based himself in Europe sparring with real quality opponents, and getting the fights that matter. My one concern is that he will need a KO, because of this goes to points then the home fighter will win. WAR LUCAS...

Re: Parker vs Takam
Has to be held in Europe, perhaps on the Haye undercard in May? Would give Parker a lot of exposure in Europe and the US,
but I have not seen anything from Parker to tell me that he has any chance to beating AJ, who will beat Martin.

On the Aussie Pacific board there are two threads regarding Mark, both are by far the most posted to on the Aussie Pacific Board. The latest one here http://boxrec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=191304 And a really old one here http://boxrec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=146556 (goto page 1...

Re: Mark De Mori
I was very wrong on this aswell, I thought Haye would go for a UK fighter. As people have said, De Mori has never fought anywhere close to this level. I personally do not think he will last 4 rounds, but he must show heart out there and not disgrace himself (ala Haye v Audley Harrison). It is diffic...

Re: Danny Green vs Konni Konrad fight is OFF
Why are foxtel still prmoting this fight? I was watching Sky News this morning (Monday) and the advert for the Green v Konrad PPV was shown twice in 30 mins.
Perhaps someone should have a word with Foxtel as they seem to think it is still going ahead!

Re: Mark De Mori
I like Marks gib, but I think David will want a recognisable name in the UK. Thats why I think Mark will not land this bout. I think Hayes comeback opponent will be Tony Bellow. Tony is well liked, very popular and respected in the UK. But if the twitter exchange between the two was a fight, then De...

Re: Green's Next Bout mooted for 2nd December
It astounds me how you lose the concept of your comments, your comment was its a very ordinary undercard, then somehow you get back on to greens opponent, it's very simple GOOSE, people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, your saying these fighters are below par yet you have never been inside a...

Re: Green's Next Bout mooted for 2nd December
bogan whisperer do you consider this an acceptable fight and undercard ? Enough of the psychobabble Im sure if I could be bothered I could find you tearing down a fighter in your posts. Is this worth $50 or whatever you would spend at the pub/club watching this? We have all been critical of a fight...

Re: Green's Next Bout mooted for 2nd December
Right, from the start Braehmer is a very weak world champion, yes he is world champion but when ever he steps up he gets found out. This is a warm up the sense that Danny can have a fight at Dannyweight against a 'World championship contender', and therefore it might carry some weight with the non b...

Re: Rohan Murdock said to be Andre Ward's next opponent
Sounds like there is a new name in the frame for Andre Ward's opponent - In Alexander Brand?? Out Rohan Murdock?? Apparently Brand is 24-1, and a 38 year old journeyman from Columbia who started boxing at age 32. Brand fights at 168, but Ward wants him to move up to 175 for this fight. Ward certain...

Re: Mark De Mori
Anton,
This is a wind up. Can you please recheck this because it can not be right.
He is 5'8, weighed 72kgs a year ago. How can a santioning body allow a 5'8 fat guy whom has a terrible record at Lt Middle in with a heavy without boxing for a year.
Even in Germany they would not allow this.

Re: Duco Event's Corporate World Title
also in NZ the rules between Pro and Corporate are different Sorry, so I am clear here - What you are saying is that the rules are that if I can get back into shape with 4 years as an amateur 20 years ago, Duco can sign me for free on a professional card against a Pro. That would be classed as what...

Re: Duco Event's Corporate World Title
Just seeking some clarity on what constitutes a pro bout? I assume it is against the rules for an amateur to be awarded prize money for winning a fight? I know at some stage that would have been the case. Like it was in footrunning years ago where young runners in particular had to be seen to be ge...

The old Dannyweight saga.
TBF, I have always thought that there is quite a jump between the LHWs at 79kg and the cruisers at 90KG
11kgs is a lot of difference in size. But there you go, and last thing we need to more world champions!

Re: It's Time To Fix The Boxing Landscape In Australia
Lucas Browne should be the shining light when it comes to developing as a boxer. If you want to make it, and you have proved you are not a tomato can by winning a few here, then you must go to Europe to develop and face stiffer competition and to get your name out there (Mark de Mori excepted). Unfo...

It seems that the medical support staff at the event did an amazing job. If it weren't for these boys, things could have been a lot worse.

Re: Nov 11th - Mundine vs Charles Hatley and Sam Soliman vs Sergey Khomitsky??
Apologies in the delay in throwing my two cents in, but I had no idea who Hatley was and had to look him up (sums up a typical Mundine opponent). From my view Hatley looks raw and this is his step up fight as it looks like he has exclusively fought journeymen. However one name jumps out on me on his...
