Thanks I forwarded your email onto Graham & Mike. Hopefully one or both of them will be in touch with you. I only deal with current stuff Cheers I noticed that the result hadn't been changed so I checked the e-mail I sent you and realized that it hadn't gone through correctly so I've sent it th...

Re: Artie Powell + Jim Powell
ANTON, I thought that I'd just send the article relating to one of the fights that is already listed before sending off everything.
The fight is Artie Powell v Percy Young 23 April 1915. Should the article be enough proof to have the result changed correctly, I'll start on the rest of them.
Thanks

Re: Artie Powell + Jim Powell
Would original articles from The Sydney Morning Herald be acceptable? I have copied them onto sites such as Photobucket, the articles clearly indicating Artie Powell's record of being at least 12-4, not the 3-6 as seen on this site. I would be prepared to make it as easy as possible for those that ...

Re: Artie Powell + Jim Powell
Very disappointing that nothing has been done.
Artie Powell fought in one of the greatest eras of Australian boxing yet his record is shamefully incorrect.
Could someone please do the right thing and make an effort to have it fixed.

Re: Alltime Australian top 20
Peter Jackson came to Australia with his family as a two year old. A natural athlete, he was working on the ferries in Sydney when he learned to box from Larry Foley in George Street, Sydney. He won the Australian Heavyweight title before going to America to chase the world champion Sullivan, who d...

Re: Grappling?????????????????????????????
Mark Grappling which I think used to be an Olympic sport is a show of strenghth between two people. It starts by putting your right hand on their left elbow and left hand on their right shoulder you then must push and pull your opponent on the timers instructions, over 3 minutes he will call 20 tim...

Monty Betham Jr could follow in Mundine's footsteps and become an ex rugby league - boxing champion. I know that's a huge call but like Choc his father was a very smart fighter and actually fought Tony towards the end of their careers. Looking at Monty Betham Snr's record I noticed that he won the C...

It seems shell is the Aussie version of TML... and that means? Grow some balls little boy and speak up, say what you really think because your comment resembles something I haven't heard since primary school. TML = thismodernlove, who is a poster on the forum. Most people on here would know him, ma...

Actually, yeah it probably is worth less seeing as Calzaghe is the current WBA SMW champion. How does that work? Wouldn't you expect the Super Champion's opponents to be a few levels higher? You can't have it both ways. Anyway I was referring to the IBF champ Lucian Bute not Calzaghe when asking if...

Re: Alltime Australian top 20
Wait a sec. I know I'm only a Canuck, but you include Kostya Tszyu, a Russian, but don't want to include Bob Fitzsimmons and Peter Jackson who both learned their craft and fought their first pro fights in OZ? Tres bizarre. During their early days they were both considered Aussies, and I believe Jac...

If he wasn't ready for it he shouldn't have turned pro. You are basically saying that Mundines fights are glorified sparring sessions that he charges $50 for people to watch. You still didn't answer my question, do you think they are legit fights? Also, stop acting like the WBA is the only belt in ...

So you think every multi weight champion is automatically ranked in the top 15 of all time... Yeah I understand... that is a good one :TU: We are talking about the Alltime Australian Top 20 aren't we? the most ridiculous thing i have ever heard
BTW Marlin, I was reading on another post you asked about the situation with the WBA's regular champion and do they have mandatories. The answer is NO but the Super Champion (Calzaghe) is meant to fight the regular champion within 21 months. Because Joe only recently won that title off Kessler he wo...

Mundine still picks who he fights. For further proof you just have to look at his undercards to see what his team considers good matchmaking... What's his undercard got to do with it? So who should he be fighting next Marlin? Something that is often overlooked is that there aren't many people that ...

MARLIN the difference is that I simply stated that Mundine will be ranked an alltime Australian great within 4 to 5 years. That's an statement based on personal opinion. You stated that Vic "could" be rated an Australian ATG "IF" he achieved a level of legendary status....greatne...

Don't worry about it, the last lines proves shell has zero credibility... MARLIN, Why don't you show us your invaluable knowledge and post a list? You're quick to criticise but fail to offer much in terms of substance, except that Vic Darchinyan should be considered if he happend to win a few more ...

the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard
The point I was making is that compared to the champions and top contenders in the super middleweight division he is still relatively inexperienced. The guys everyone wants him to fight (whoever that is because no-one has mentioned anyone) have got to where they are after 10 to 20+ years of fine tun...

they won't be proved wrong until he beats some current world champs and stops fighting bums I often wonder where people are coming from when they bag Choc regarding the guys he is fighting. What's the rush? Is he terminal? This isn't a guy like Kostya who fought over 250 amatuer bouts before going ...

Mundine/Hamdan undercard
After this fight Choc needs to starts fighting abroad.
Does anyone know if he'll have problems getting fights in the US because of his comments relating to 9/11. I hope not because against some topline fighters he'd give them value for money.
