Re: Round-by-Round: Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tony Bellew - 10 November 2018

Just come out the arena. Surprised reading this. I gave Belles two rounds. Usyk seemed to be in complete control, and the ending inevitable. it seems like most people had usyk coming into control and winning the last 3 or so rounds at least before the stoppage. but the commentary i watched was just...

Re: Round-by-Round: WBSS 168 Final - George Groves vs. Callum Smith - 28 September 2018

Fair play Smith absolutely had him. I'm far from a fan of the Smith family, but he won by a mile tonight. Had him up by two, but could easily have been wider, some I gave to Groves were razor thin. If someone had Smith + 4/5 I wouldn't really argue. The end looked like it was coming from around R2 o...

Surprised the now vacant WBC Money Belt wasn't on the line, following the boxing retirements of Mayweather and McGregor.

Re: Round-by-Round: Carl Frampton vs. Luke Jackson / Tyson Fury - 18 August 2018

Surprised at Jones's card. I've got it 3-0 Rosales. At worst 2-1 Rosales. Sky sports commentary is biased but jesus Jones can't half favour the house fighter sometimes. He was talking how Barnes was winning the round moments before the knockout. As someone said further up I couldn't see it going an...

Re: your pet peeves

When "HYPED YOUNG FIGHTER" loses comprehensively, yet unexpectedly, to a journeyman or nobody, they then re-match and the hype machine gets the win, all reaction is "well, that put that story to bed, can move on now, clearly much better and that was all proven tonight". "The...

Re: your pet peeves

Agree with almost everything in this thread to be honest. I'm probably most sick of the small hall scene. Or at least local to me anyway. I'd say there's some good, but not great prospects coming through. Every other month they're battering up some 3-75 Lithuanian and cruising to a 12-0, 15-0 record...

Smith won't want any piece of Munguia. If he wants an 'easy' title, he's gonna have to wait a while now.

Would be good though..
WBA regular titles at both weights?
WBA probably create a 150 pound belt.. oh wait.. that would likely be WBC..
After Floyd retired o believe the "Money Belt" is currently vacant :D

I can't stand him but Bellew wins at a canter if it's a 'real' fight.

Otherwise, Haye wins cos of narrative for a third fight £££.

He's trying Small Hall with his NxtGEN stuff.

Can say that those cards have been awful, and they have, however the standard of Small Hall across the board seems to have really dropped in the last 6 months or so. Rarely see a card I'm vaguely interested in now.

Re: Not Enough Threads

Perhaps there should be a minimum character limit. So if someone does just keep posting embedded links etc, they also need to add comment. Then it would be shown who is abusing the system and not if they can actually string a few words together about what they've posted and why.

Re: Not Enough Threads

How about one thread per weight titled Fantasy [weight] Fights: Him v Him, where the creator agrees to update the subtitle only? Every weekend at most, maybe. We don't need a new thread every time this Michael Benson lad tweets a gypsy grapevine. Fantasy Fights needs a sub forum I think. Couldn't g...

Have it at Wembley, have it in a pub car park, pay them £20, pay them £20m. Couldn't give one, just make it happen.

RBR should be fight day only.

"POLL: Guy Who Just Fought vs Guy That May Never Fight Guy A" should have it's own section until such fight becomes a confirmed reality.

Re: Ronnie "The Shark" Clark -My Views following your comments

I'm a big fan of Barrett and have watched him on small hall shows for a number of years now. This fight, Clark clearly won. Better fighter on the night, and I've seen Barrett do a lot better. For me, he underestimated Clark, and Clark wanted it more. But that's all I'd accuse him of. Unless somethin...
