Did that entire thread get deleted? Shame, it had some nice posts from Glyn Leach and others. Yup. Glyn had left a number of comments (unrelated to Ron and more generally about commentators per se). It's sad to see all this deleted; and with no explanation or reason. And after all - this is a forum...

Pro boxing is an embarrassment as a sport. Has always been corrupt and is a grotesquely unfair business. International amateur boxing, and even at club level has a level of corruption and is not even about money.

No solution really.

This is an interesting result: Croatian super heavyweight Filip Hrgovic knocked out Cuba’s Leinier Pero in round two.

Hrgovic has sparred top heavies including David Haye and done well. I caught him at 10-1. Now 5-1.

No she isn't. Barring the strength advantages of being a man, the quality of her boxing is good, but about the level of a decent quality male club boxer.
