Good news for Serge & Oz boxing.

Hope you can get him matched-up now Charlie. That's your next challange.

Re: Tua v. Cameron

Potentially a great match-up, and unlikely to go the distance.

Tua at 49 + 3 +1 has only lost to very good opposition. Cameron record 22 + 1 is good, but I thought he struggled against Mirovic.

IMO the power & experience of Tua will see him through.

Saw Njock VS Kane McKay and I think Chas was losing the plot towards the end. He did get some points deducted in that one. But he almost turned his back a couple of times. Didn't see this fight, but 'quit on his stool' doesn't sound too flattering. Did he take much punishment? Any takers on the abo...

.....you fight your first 10 or so fights against chumps, but you increase the quality of your opposition and fight to YOUR SKILL LEVEL. Hard to disagree with most of what's been said in this thread. Having said that, I can also see the challanges/difficulties associated with putting on a good card at the right price (it is a business and the promoter is entitled to make a quit as well as the fighters). There certainly are a lot of A...

...Maybe the only reason mundine was staging the fight in perth was to help set the stage for the green rematch.... That's my take on it too. Recently downloaded an old episode from the website (from late last year?). The interview with Porky Lovett was excellent, and the story about him and his brother pulling teeth with pliers for a dollar each from the tooth fairy....an absolute cracker.

Keep up the good work DSS!

I think Ellis should stop fighting Thai;s that are past use by date and have lost there last 10 fights and face local talent Kanofski, Hunt, Delic, Shaw, Antonakos, Mc Mahon, Hately,Paulley, just to name a few. His wins over locals Swan, Savage and in particular Brian Fogarty were impressive. But y...

I read/heard an interview with him once that he said he puts on up to 20kg between fights, loses a bulk of it once he starts training and then forces the rest off. True, and when KT went into training prior to fights, his father often suffered with him through the weight loss - and trained pretty h...

Does anyone else think this fight is just about money? It'll be a good payday for both guys and is sure to draw interest from the general public and there's always the whole tasman rivalry thing, but Hoppa would have to land a very lucky punch to win this one, and I just can't see this as a step fo...

I share your frustration with rankings! The fact that there are so few pros competing in each div in Oz tends to make things worse than might otherwise be. Particularly where a new fighter starts out with say 2 wins and 1 loss, and is all of a sudden ranked above guys who've been at it for years, an...
