Re: Cronulla March 25 Update
To my suprise the fight was close... Gairy although he hadn't fought for 16 months and came up a few divisions put on a pretty good show.... I particularly like how he spewed in the last round and kept on throwing punches :OhYes: UD for Ryan but one of the judges gave it 118-110 another 119-109 whic...

Re: Cronulla March 25 Update
Both Gairy and Ryan where at the Sharks v Dragons game on Monday night plugging the upcoming fight. Although both not big guys the size difference between the 2 is massive. I am a big St Claire fan but going on his last couple of performances I think his best days are well and truly behind him... ho...

While I hope so - I don't think it will happen, didn't Gairy get dropped in his last couple of fights (this from a boxer who once never got knocked down)rb63 wrote:Gairy will be too slick for waters,he will give him a boxing lesson.

Gairy St Clair
I have just noticed that Gairy St Clair is fighting Ryan Waters for the vacant WBA Pan African light middleweight title
I hope he doesn't get hurt...... he is a great bloke and in his day was a good fighter but I think he should have stayed retired

Re: Elomar & Tomlinson
This fight needs to happen now, you can't get king hit when you're a professional boxer and turn the other cheek... i mean fark i don't know if i could look at Tomlinson in the same double hard little bastard that i currently see him as. Where I'm from, you king hit someone you get up and you go to...

Just goes to show what a dog Billy husein is - to let a boxer in the state Briggs was in get in the ring with Danny Green is criminal.
Hope he does not get a cent

Re: Briggs taken to hospital-concussion suspected
Green Machine Promotions was well aware of Briggs' condition Anton, I take it Danny is lying during his recent interview on radio? Going by what you have stated above Danny should have known all about Briggsy. Danny has said he holds Billy and the rest of the Briggs camp accountable for not informi...

Totally agree..... Brigss is not the type of guy who would throw a fight
hope he is ok

Re: Can someone who's watching Green v Briggs please do an RBR?
Can anyone remember Briggs last fight against Rupert van Aswegen before he retired? He looked terrible in that fight and that was over 3 years ago. I remember seeing the fight then thinking what a shadow of his former self he was and although he was relatively young thought that he made the right de...

Re: Can someone who's watching Green v Briggs please do an RBR?
Must say I was gutted also My brother works for the PCYC and saw Briggs spar a few weeks ago down at South Sydney PCYC and he said then that there was no way the fight should go ahead. I don't think Paul Briggs is the type of guy who would take a dive..... I hope this is the case 3 years is along ti...

Re: 16 July 2009 Super Boxer
Have to agree ^ Andre Meunier is one big unit though - technique not the best and the upercuts he was throwing were straight out of closing time at the pub. Pitmann was ordinary - don't know what the future holds for him definately not world class Tiger Tim Bell is a solid local fighter but ain't no...

Lets hope it wasn't detrimental to the free to air revolution. Spot on :TU: I must say I am sick of all the boxers and hangeroners who think they are bigger than the sport.... I thounght the ANBF were going to do something about limiting the number of "dickheads" that can jump in the ring...

Re: Garay no mandatory....is Green in picture ??
No way Danny Green was scared on anyone ... Biggest load of BS I have ever heard I hope he does get another crack at the WBA title after he has a few warm up fights as I reckon he is a huge chance of getting the title back from Garay. If he does have the title it may be more of a carrot for Mundine ...

Re: Mundine-Green rematch rumors!
Id like to see Green win his title back and set up a showdown at 175 with another Champ. I would like to see that also :TU: Wouldn't Mundine want to fight for a LHW belt against Green? He is always talking crap about how he is going to be a world champ in 3 weight divisions  I assume he is tak...

Re: Mundine-Green rematch rumors!
Surely Green would need a couple of warm up fights before the rematch?
If he did come back what would his ranking be like considering he was a former LHW champion - would he get a title shot at a LHW belt????

Re: Jeff Harding V Danny Green V Anthony Mundine
Harding fitness was also great, it allowed him to get into those 12 round wars and win
Harding would have knocked out Mundine a LHW
Green v Harding would have been a fight, but I think Harding UD over 12 rounds
