Re: The Walsh brothers from Cromer
I have absolutely no idea where you would have got the idea that they are fighting in America
Michael and Ryan are scheduled to fight early Nov in Norwich and Liam is hoping to be back in the ring by the end of Nov.

Re: The Walsh brothers from Cromer
Liam is still contracted to FW - for 4 more fights I believe. Michael and Ryan are now free agents after deciding not to renew their contracts with FW. They are currently working alongside a different promoter to promote their small hall fights in Norwich.
Hope that helps.

Re: Swedish boxers
Yeah I looked at that but I was looking for someone in particular. He is Swedish but fights out of a different country due to Swedish laws. He may even hold a belt? Pretty good boxer. I apologise that I am being vague but I have a friend from Sweden and I was talking to him abo...

After 5 heavyweight fights...
Should Haye be wondering why? As soon as he has come up aginst a top class heavyweight he has come unstuck. Apart from the paypacket and his arrogant persona why did he not stay in the cruiserweight division? He could have dominated that division for a long time and created a real legacy. Instead he...

Swedish boxers
Sorry everyone, I know that you are all interested in that no-show from Haye but... Pro boxing is illegal in Sweden but I am sure that there is a couple of top Swedish boxers around at the moment (obviously fighting out of elsewhere) can you please remind me of their names as my mind has gone blank!...

Ryan Walsh on the Murray undercard
Yet another win for the Walsh brothers. A very good win for Ryan (twin brother of Liam Walsh) against a durable brawler in Gavin Ried. Walsh gave away height, reach and (one would guess) weight in this bout but managed a 7th round KO. What next for Walsh in the super-bantamweight division (although ...

Re: kays vs walsh round by round and scores
Why would he do that? There is nothing in that fight for Walsh. He's already beaten Awuku (who beat Laryea!!). A good British opponent will be next on the card and after that don't be suprised to see him fighting for the British title. Laryea is a decent Commonwealth level fighter, so Walsh would l...

Re: kays vs walsh round by round and scores
Was a good fight competitive! I think walsh will do well who next? Appleby, maybe. There are plenty of good British opponents to fight, so I don't want to see him fight any unkown Africans. I would quite like to see him fight Laryea though. Why would he do that? There is nothing in that fight for W...

Re: kays vs walsh round by round and scores
Appleby is looking like a good test for Walsh next. If he can overcome that then it is surely time to put him in for the british title. He needs more fights. His last fight was back in October when he beat Maxwell Awuku. More regular bouts and he will go far. If he carries on fighting every 5 months...

Re: kays vs walsh round by round and scores
Kays fought a good fight, good on him. I must say I had a bet on Walsh in the 4th, and I was oh so close!! Good fight all round but the best man won. Well done Liam Walsh.

Area, English OR British. This will be the year that the boys step up a level and start moving towards British, Commonwealth and European. It's exciting times. Steve Barnes the 18 year old super bantam who was recently beaten by Ian Bailey looks like a good prospect. And of course all 3 Walshes and the olympians.

I have been a fan of theirs throughout their young careers including the ABA's. And I can honestly see them going all the way to the top.

Re: The Walsh Brothers
Why do you see no other result than a Walsh KO - except for pure bias on your part? Michael has walked through all of his opponents thus far. He is quick, strong and hasn't yet been troubled. As I said before i've no doubt that Ali has skill but I feel he may be punching slightly above his weight s...

Ok so the bill on Sat does look like a good Friday Fight Night but there are 3 boxers on the bill that are tipped for good things this year. Re: Feb 13th - Wembley
Thanks, although I heard that Vinny had pulled out?
Also, I heard a rumour that they were just going to use around half of Wembley arena due to poor ticket sales but I was also led to believe that it's a sell out, ANY HELP?
