Re: Mall Charlo calls out Bivol

:TU: What is laughable at this dude , is that he is acting like he is some kind of big boxing star(AB syndrome) with a stellar reccord and people are craving to see him back in the ring. lol  He should be stripped of his strap if he doesn't fight Adames next. Agree. And- that's a reasonable fi...

Re: Mall Charlo calls out Bivol

 Mall is running his mouth like he is an AB wannabe. He just trying to stay relevant with his ol' gibberish. Bivol is fighting on DAZN. Lets see if Charlito has the balls to fight Bena - Plant winner in their own stable. :TU: Trying to stay relevant while not doing anything relevant in boxing....

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Derek Chisora III | BT PPV - 3 December 2022

Man!!! Just went for a walk and it’s 6 degrees… FREEZING!!! And it’s gonna be 3 degrees Saturday. Imagine if the fight is a replay of the 2014 bore and everyone sat there freezing their balls off ? Might be nobody left in the ground by the end Or, sadly, a coke and booze fuelled seat throwing melee...

Never mind the fighters, I can picture the crowd getting grumpy if there are lacklustre fights combined with long waits. Heck, I would be too if it was 5° and had to listen to Neil bloody Diamond for the umpteen time, I'm getting grumpy just thinking about it

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Derek Chisora 3 | ESPN - December 3, 2022

Is it asking too much for both of these guys to go away. Fury because he won't shut up and Chisora for his own health . It is a concern. He has spoken about how he is not "punchy" which leads me to believe he is in some way, because why state it when not even prompted/asked about it? Also...

Re: Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez vs. John Ryder - May 2023?

Got a lot of time for Ryder, proper old-school mentality and can't begrudge him this shot, but do feel it would be a mismatch as he'd be tailor-made for Canelo. Would go out on his shield though. Agree. Love a grafter, and Ryder is that. It takes an enormous amount of training and cardio to apply a...

Re: BoxRec Forum HW Top 15 ranking - Whyte vs. Franklin / Jalolov vs. Harper

Dillian Whyte Defends Performance: “I Went Into The Fight With A Biceps Injury, Chest Infection” “I never get no credit,” said Whyte on Behind The Gloves. “I fought a young undefeated guy. I went into the fight with a biceps injury, chest infection.” “The main thing with me was mentally. You’ve see...

Stay the same.

I want to drop Whyte a spot but not below Chisora. I think he lost to Franklin, or at best drew.

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Derek Chisora III | BT PPV - 3 December 2022

Anyone going to this? I could see fury coming out and saying he has a niggle this week and then pulling the pin on the show. This could be a real embarrassment if the biggest draw (according to fwank) has a half full stadium vs another ppv fighter. They will be giving tickets away at the local boxi...

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Derek Chisora III | BT PPV - 3 December 2022

Said this before, but the lengths many are going on here and across social media to hammer the event is well over the top now. It’s like a bunch of lemmings on twitter jumping on every comments section to repeat the same stuff over and again. Yes, barring an act of God, he probably can’t win and we...

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Derek Chisora III | BT PPV - 3 December 2022

From the Times article about Chisora giving away tickets: Fury’s WBC title is on the line so a clash between two British heavyweights should be a big deal, but there has been a social media shrug at the £26.95 pay-per view price. Chisora is 39 next month and, although he has proved durable in elite ...

Maybe if it was a bit more competitive. But watching him get busted up and stopped over 11 rounds wasn't all that.

Re: Regis Prograis vs. Jose Zepeda | PPV - November 26, 2022

Glad I didn't purchase this. I thought Zepeda's hand speed would have made it a closer fight. Also a couple of the undercard fights looked OK. Unfortunately they weren't and the main event was one sided. 5 years ago this would have been a free to air event, and even free it was lame apart from roun...

How bloody dare you! :shame: Your right though, its 90% poms vs poms. It used to be a way for fighters from smaller commonwealth countries to get on the big stage in the UK. Don't know what went amiss with that. Heck, I was horrified to see Joe Joyce fighting Carlos Takem for the Commonwealth HW tit...

Re: Round-by-Round: Zach Parker vs, John Ryder | BT Sport - 26 November 2022

Nice exposure of Parker by the tough mofo Ryder. That pressure was too much for Parker. I think so too. Parker was trying a few things early on, but I also believe he folded under pressure, ran out if ideas, and wanted out. Sure his hand might be messed up, and that's his call to make I guess. Ryde...

What’s happened guys ? Parker retires after four rounds with a ‘broken hand’. Parker getting a bit of a roasting by Bunce, Dempsey and Denzel Bentley about his premature retirement. I guess only Parker knows how badly his hand hurts… Plenty of fighters hang in there with broken hands, ribs, jaws an...

Re: Regis Prograis vs. Jose Zepeda | PPV - November 26, 2022

Well... It wasn't a fight of the year contender like the people trying to sell this as a PPV said. It was pretty one sided, Zepeda had the quicker hands, but I could only give him one of the first nine rounds. Reggie was actually showboating a little by the 8th, enjoying the one way traffic.
