Re: Round-by-Round: Lyndon Arthur vs. Davide Faraci - 10 July 2021
Not the most exciting performance from Lyndon.positives.? Superb finish, beat an unbeaten fighter by ko , some great feints,no ones mentioned how well the right hand held up when throwing it hard. Negatives. Looked like he was blowing a touch mid rounds, slow to get going , Promoter appears to favou...

What a top nights boxing. Got to say they usually put on top cards. Lots of fifty fifty fights. Class boxing last night . Compare that card to the dire cards we watch on sky/BT . Shows like that if on terrestrial tv will have sport fans in general loving it . Well done MTK. An to all the boxers .

Re: Round-by-Round: Anthony Yarde vs. Lyndon Arthur - 5 December 2020
Also must John Rawlings commentary last night an week before is all about the favourite rather than simply sticking to what’s happening in front of him , as if he has to favour the hype job. Out of all of them, I prefer John but slipping lately for me with the cheerleading. Andy Lee Supurb on gantry...

Re: Round-by-Round: Anthony Yarde vs. Lyndon Arthur - 5 December 2020
Lyndon won that by at least four rounds! Yarde corner offered nothing but” stay calm” “ lions in the camp” “ shoot the right hand”. That’s all I heard between one Round! Other time I heard ... get him on the ropes ... haha .... sort of things you hear in the pub when you watching fights! Yarde needs...

Not much love for Arthur on here. Threw quality jab, beautiful hooks to Body, some lovely hooks up the middle , selection shot was great. Defended great on iropes an countered lovely. Great use of the often underused defensive block ...... all about opinions. Spellman very tough man. Very durable. T...

Re: Andy Ruiz may surprise us! He's no joke!
Reading a lot of surprising posts here, AJ has to move, AJ has to clinch, AJ has to break out of clinch with sharp counters..... have you actually watched AJ box, one dimensional, starting that annoying thing of talking bout himself an “ we”’as in the third person. The “ lucky” punch etc. He no plan...

Re: Examples of good and bad cornerwork when faced with the tough decision to pull a fighter out.
How about when a referee refuses to let the corner pull him out , like the ego that is Mickey vann, when graham Earle was taking heavy punches from katsidis. Yes Earle rallied briefly after vann threw towel back out of ring but for vann to ignore the trainer who knows his fighter better than anyone ...
