Re: Shane Fury

He has a very good name on the am circuit amongst coaches and officials alike. Two of his sons are very good, but he takes their losses very well, too. More dads like him in the ams would be a great thing. He took a close loss on a home show for his son, who's a national champion, with grace.

Re: Tommy Fury vs. Eddie Hall | DAZN - 13 June 2026

Boxing is a joke isn't it? I can't think of any other sport where untrained schmucks and YouTubers can compete in a sideshow and it gets treated by the governing bodies and the fans as an actual contest lmfao It's embarassing. Because it makes money. Unfortunately,a small hall show in London will d...

Re: Jai Opetaia vs. Chris Billam-Smith - Who wins?

The way Zurdo punched up CBS I have to assume he will be no match for Jai. Jai is the most overrated fighter in the sport relative to his actual resume. He went life and death twice with Breides, including one who hadn't fought in almost 2 years and got his shit rocked both times, and that's it. Th...

Re: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua - 2026 *new thread*

Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury showdown could take place in UK as Eddie Hearn reveals talks enter final stages "Once we sign up for that agreement, it is over to (Turki) for the staging. We (Matchroom) will be promoting for July. I would think that the November fight or whatever it will be, wil...

I'll give the Irish their dues, they really get behind their sports people, even if they are nothing special.
What don't you get about her?
The fact that she isn't that good and people flock to see her.
They did it with AJ, too.

It shows Eddie is either a compulsive liar or has little say in the opposition if they went straight to a Keith Connolly fighter.

Re: Dave Allen v Thomas Carty - Croke Park

According to Dave, he is fighting on a few small hall shows at his own cost. I'm guessing this 3rd fight of his at Croke, again could be out of his own pocket. My prediction was Dan Garber for the English, at some point. Croke was for decent money. Carty was the one who didn't agree. Any idea why? ...

The fact she's Irish helped. She wouldn’t have had anywhere near the impact if she was British. Her image helped, too, and seems very genuine. She really is an Irish icon. I was amazed when I went to see her.
