Re: junior witter (what next)
Read in The Times yesterday that he needs operation on cruciate ligament injury he got while playing footy, think career could be decided on outcome of that and not what happens in ring

Where's Audley Gone?
Fight on 18th no longer showing on card! Is he just waiting til every other H/W retires so he can take a vacant title or does anyone know reason for withdraw.

Re: Jones/Green spoiler!!
sad to see but thank f*ck it ended quick. Over 5 years since RJJ went against Tarver at LH and has declined since, felt sorry for him when he was almost schooled by JC so the step up against Cruiser who can bang was going to be difficult after bad few years.

Re: When will Harrison v Fury be arranged?
won't happen, Albert the pole wins EBU title this month then fights Audley (currently ranked 8ish by EBU), Tyson beats McD then waits for mandatory Williams/Sexton winner. Audley running out of time and fight with Tyson serves him no purpose

Re: If you managed Audley Harrison
glory or bust fight against Tomasz Ademek (06 Feb); blown up cruiserweight, good record, world champion, good ratings and means Audley doesn't have to leave America. If wins then could propel him to some sort of eliminator as govering bodies like giving their champs good ratings when they move up in...

Re: Martin Rogan: The Scandal
one boxer gets beaten by another, better boxer. It happens and we all move on. If British H/W division was not so poor no one would give a damn. The scandal is with our domestic division and the lack of depth it offers, we have a relative novice as english champion and a beaten man as british champi...

Re: Harrison vs Haye?
Audley spent to much time believing his own hype and not enough time training and boxing. This fight will never happen because no matter how shite WBA are (they have 2 weight divisions with Super Champion, World Champion and Interim World Champion!!) they wont let this happen. Haye will also make mo...

Re: Degale: Valuev was a rubbish champion.. i could beat him
if i won the lottery i would offer them both a few million just to make it happen, DeGale needs to calm himself down and remember what our previous gold medal winner has achieved. The lad has talent but a thinly veiled dig at a two-weight world champion is a knob-head publicity stunt. Respect is ear...

Re: adamek vs. golota
Another cruiser is about to try fighting at heavy, two years after getting his clock cleaned by Haye Mormeck is stepping up a weight. Is it for the better money or do these lads feel that their natural speed will enable them to succeed in a weak h/w division? Never know enzo mac may have a future af...

Re: Audley won in a weak division?
I once won a cycling time-trial and proceded to tell all my mates that i would be tour de france winner by time i was 25, even put £50 bet on with one mate and that was when £50 was a fortune (1987); so i trained hard and raced on a regular basis but when time came to step up I realised that I wasn'...

Re: Setanta in trouble ?
Setanta's problem is a common business problem which can be summed up in one word, competition. Sky is well established, with a massive product portfolio (its variety of channels) and a loyal, expanding customer base. Setanta is trying to muscle in on a company that is a global business while offeri...

think the Ellis fight took it out of him and needs time to recover, 50 seconds of beating someone up aint easy; just ask Froch, he beat Taylor up for 2 minutes and looked f*cked.

Steve is the Sid Waddell of boxing, sometimes bit mental and left field, but has true passion for the game. love his interviews cos most boxers seem either bemused or scared of him and just tell the truth, Arise Sir Steve ![[icon_notworthy.gif]](./images/smilies/icon_notworthy.gif)

John needs to fight a live opponant not a 18-7 stiff, Kelly would be to much of a jump in class but get him against Geale or Sturm to build up nicely

big believer in taking responsibilities for your own actions. Re: winner of appleby vs lindsay to get crack at IBF title
Cruz is a seasoned pro, been round the block and if you going to beat him you have to be dureable as he last the rounds and is prepared to travel, to early for either appleby or lindsay but great to see two good young fighter willing to put zero loss record on the line. someone like Salido first who...
