Re: Deontay Claims to be to the BBOAT (best banger of all time)

Yeah you could make a case for his right hand being the single most effective punch a boxer has, but there's definitely not a case for him being the all time best puncher because he's 1 note. He's got a right hand. That's it. That being said, I don't know that I've seen too many guys with less tech...

Weirdly he seemed to be having his best period just before he was stopped.

Ah. Didn’t see them throw anything in, it just seemed a strange end.
I think Jamie stood on the apron, and Herrings corner alerted the ref.
:TU:

Thought it was Frampton turning his back at first cause the ref reacted slowly too.

Sad end for Frampton.

Was Richie Woodhall really a body double for Brad Pitt in Snatch?

I had no idea.

Great podcast though.

Wouldn’t mind hearing one with John Thaxton.

I was just skimming Canelo’s record, didn’t know he’d fought Boldomir...then found out Boldomir is serving 18 years in prison for molesting his daughter for 2 years. Jesus. Never knew that about Boldomir. He should rot in hell. Unfathamable. Horrible story. I remember the Mayweather fight, couldn’t...

What on Earth could Bellew be implying here :maybe: https://twitter.com/tonybellew/status/1340536026587140097?s=21 He’s always been a big guy. When he was catchweighting at 155, he was what? 23-25 years old? He probably used to enter the ring over 170 anyway.. he’s just been good at cutting weight....

Thats true...although Crawford is the unproven potential one who might be the answer. I remember Bunce did a p4p list surely 18 odd years back on sky and he said " a good p4p list should be that the fighters at 1-10 should be able to hang and compete at least with anyone of any era in their we...

I thought Lara beat him also...more clearly than GGG infact. I dont think you can discount the Mayweather loss. It wasnt a green teenager...he was a long time champion and in many p4p lists back then...and the manner of the loss was also a factor. If Joshua beats Fury and then Wilder KOs Joshua it ...

I hadn’t listened in a long time. But read the comments on here and listened to the Groves podcast today, it was a great listen. Was surprised at hearing about the way things worked when he was with Hayemaker. It didn’t seem that way at the time at all. Started the Ed Robinson one after but not far ...

Re: Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez vs. Callum Smith - 19 December 2020

I really do have an issue ranking Canelo at the # 1 P4P fighter when I think he has 4 loses against his 3 best opponents and one of them was very comprehensive (I also had Lara a clear winner) but now it's like no one really wants that crown of being p4p #1 either.. GGG hasnt looked great recently,...

Lewis overrated? - The answer is no. He beat everyone he fought, yes he got beat twice but avenged both losses and in style. He could be frustrating, but he was a quality fighter. Mike Tyson overrated is a better discussion. I think it’s not questionable that people overrate Tyson. Not that he wasn...

They were saying they thought it should have been stopped in the third after Pulev ‘quit’ and walked away?
