WBO super middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe will not be fighting on July 24 at the Cardiff International Arena because of a re-occurrence of his back injury. Promoter allegedly said the injury is worse than first thought. Promoter allegedly said, "This is a bitter blow for Joe who has had a ba...

Tuffnutz I agree with your post. But, he should have stopped Ayalia in the 8th. He was finished, but I was a little bit shocked at Barrera's stamina, he seemed like he punched himself out in the 8th, and lost the 9th IMO. He is going to need tremendous stamina to keep up with Manny, has he got that...

I actually disagree somewhat to the majority of posters. While for the most part Barrera looked awesome - I think there were categorical signs that he is slowing up. The Barrera of a few years ago would have KO'd Ayalia in the 8th. Can he sustain a pace any more? Barrera will be too much for Harris...

The most important thing about this fight for barrera is that he was the first man to only to stop Ayala, but to DESTROY him.

He's still got the skills and power to beat anyone in the divison. :o

This fight was a great confidence boost for him.

For a while now Barrera has not been producing the fire of his peak years but he's still a damn good boxer. That finishing salvo last night was brilliant. It doesn't appear to me that the Pacquiao defeat has messed him up in any way. You'd have to favour Barrera over Harrison but WHAT a fight it wo...

Harrison wouldn't beat Morales, Barrera, Pacquiao or Marquez, but FW won't even make those fight's so it doesn't matter. Abelyan had a dreadful defence and people like Colin Hart were saying how his speed would be a factor. Looking at the previews on SKY I thought is it me? , because I thought Abel...

Bunce after the Barrera fight.

I thought he talked a load of arse saturday night but the shit he spoke after the Barrera fight and the short replay of the harrioson fight truly takes the piss.

Listening to Bunce last night made me want to vomit.

How can new fans to the game learn anything from this fool?

Barrera would destroy Scott Harrison!

Sorry McCoy, but after the way Barrera dominated and destroyed Ayala is see no way how Harrison can beat him. No way would harrison take those vicious left hooks to the body that Barrera unleased last night. :o No way would he take that wicked right hook to the temple followed by that awesome combo ...

sprott could'nt use his skills because of the size and awkwardness of Skelton. Skelton's messy hook happy style confused sprott and Skelton tired Sprott out with his size more than anything. I predicted a late stoppage for Skelton due to Sprotts stamina and that was the case. I'm pretty sure that th...

Magee is a good combo puncher but he lacks power and his chin is questionable. Elliot was just a basic brawler with nothing more than a left and right hook. I don't think he even threw a single jab in the fight. Not to mention it was his first fight at 168. How he ever made 160 i will never k...

No, that's why it's sickening. You have to ask yourself, why not?
We all know why and I don't just blame Warren anymore.

They've avoided too many top fighters to convine me that Hatton will fight the best in the world. :x

Harris won't get the win if this fight is close. I never understood why he put his title on the link against Urkal in his back yard. :-?
