I'm loving it, this seems to be setting up to be a good year for the Golden Gloves. with Aleem and Deleon at the top of thier games. this will be a good match, I just hope it's a fair match. these two fought each other back in 09....and the fight was given to Deleon, I personally felt Aleem won........

It has been one year since I chose Johnny Garcia as a boxer that i thought was flying under the radar, and Johnny Garcia is 5-0 with 4 KO's since turning pro.
Why is he still Flying under the radar? still remains unsigned?
At some point there's going to be a promoter with a champion on board!

a pro fighter that i believe is flying under the radar is Johnny Garcia. he just recently won his second pro-bout. i hear he travels around the great lake area sparring other more experienced pro's and doing really good. anyone have any input on him??

for those of you in the state of MI, talk to me. what should I expect at this years Golden Gloves? I've heard some of last years fighters have gone pro. thats good cause it opens the door for some new talent, but is there any new talent?

I was unable to go, so i want to know how it went?

Why are the golden gloves nationals not on ESPN?
it is a major sporting event, for god sakes they play billiard tournaments!

it does, but in my mind im trying to fully understand how the judging is done?
as i get more involved in the sport, i like to know, what to prepare the kids for.

The one part I hate about boxing is the scheduling.
how sometimes you take a fighter to a fight, just to find out the other guy did'nt show, or there is too many fights so they cut a few.
So I'm looking for ideas, What would make a perfect boxing show? and how could it be pulled off?
