Re: Probellum, Schaefer File Defamation Lawsuit Against Ben Shalom And BOXXER

So Probellum we’re suing Boxxer, but now they’ve released to Caterall to box for them? Doesn’t sound odd at all, does it?

Re: glenn mccrory in court

Don’t see much in the article which would point to a sexual assault TBF, although it only talks about his contact with one of the 3. Presume it depends what the other 2 say probably.

Re: All womans boxing card September 10th good or bad idea?

I forecast a lot of empty seats. It’s something that’ll have to be tried at some stage, but I don’t think doing it in a venue this size will work.

Re: Probellum, Schaefer File Defamation Lawsuit Against Ben Shalom And BOXXER

Whilst I think it’s pretty clear DK was involved with Probellum, I think it may actually be difficult for them to prove it. Will be interesting to see what happens. I’m surprised Probellum haven’t folded to be honest. I’m like you in that I’m surprised that they’re still going. I just thought that ...

Re: Tommy Fury backing out of Jake Paul fight again

It’s the Kinahan thing for Tyson, but it’s the fact that he gouged someone’s eye half out that’s caused John to be banned. I would say that they could ask Peter but he’s banned after drug dealing and money laundering

If it happens it’ll give us the chance to see Beterbiev live in the UK. That’s the major plus.
There is no way Yarde deserves the shot and I’ll eat my hat if he doesn’t get absolutely smashed

Re: Julius Francis rolling back the years as a security guard

Pushing someone who is all fired up will never stop a fight. It’ll likely just make them more angry.
The fella had shown enough aggression already (despite a lot of being of the ‘look at me being a bad man’ variety). May as well cut to the quick a give him a clump.

Re: BBC Panorama - "Boxing and the Mob"

Difficult to say, with so many countries involved, all with different laws. Also, there seems to be a bit of a ‘funding terrorism’ angle from the US government. If it comes under anti terrorism laws I think most options are open. There will almost certainly be a couple of people who were in the know...

Re: BBC Panorama - "Boxing and the Mob"

Not sure if this affects anyone who hasn’t boxed (or earned money) in America, but Tyson Fury, Billy Joe Saunders, Liam Smith, Rocky Fielding and Jono Carroll have all had title fights in the states and have been connected with MTK at some point, off the top of head. Can’t remember in Callum Smith w...

Re: BBC Panorama - "Boxing and the Mob"

US Government now asking to see peoples financial records, will be applying for court orders for those who won’t provide them.

The option to bullshit about finances is apparently soon to disappear. They certainly won’t be ignoring those 3 multi million Wilder purses.

US bans more than 600 people connected with the Kinahan OCG from entering the country.

Ban particularly aimed at people involved with them from the world of boxing.

Article in the mail today putting pressure on channel 5 for their connection with Wasserman and “good friend” of Daniel Kinahan, Kalle Sauerland. It focussed a bit on tonight’s show being the 1st of 5 planned shows. Will have to see if this affected.

The Kynoch statement quite noticeably falls short of threatening action for libel though.

Most “un-lawyerly”. Would have thought he’d get stuck in if he was that confident of his position?
