Commentators make the sport look like Wrestling.I Feel Fine wrote:Nonsense. PPV certainly doesn't help boxing, but its hardly killing the sport; Pacquiao and Cotto, De La Hoya and Mayweather can testify to that.
Commentators? Who gives a eff about commentators?

Re: Hagler vs Monzon
hagler was a speeds demon compared to monzone, who struggled terribly with tony licata of all people. Licata would be very lucky to last three with Hagler. Monzon must have been carrying him. that explains it. :P By the way, welcome to Boxrec MM! thank you Elton John, not the real one i presume, th...

Re: Is boxing dying?
YES!! boxing is dying because of money, fighters fight only once or twice a year and for the best amount of money they can recieve. also, PPV doesn't help and over excitable commentators that make it seem like wwe wrestling

Re: The Ring's Top 10 greatest title reigns
Dempsey fought the great black fighters and jack didn't? Johnson couldn't defend against other black fighters, because it wasn't seen as marketable. At the time, nobody wanted to see two black men fight for the Heavyweight belt. Yes but at the time there were no coloured men for dempsey to fight at...

Re: Hagler vs Monzon
Struggled terribly with Licata? That's not true. Licata lasted a long time, but he didn't win too many rounds. Monzon battered him. i don't think you have seen the fight perhaps getting confused with tony Mundine who was even worse...... Monzone beat mundine quite nicely but Licata did well wasnt f...

Firpo, brennan, miske and i count Dempsey as a two-time champ because of the long count against tunney. not enough defences he took a long time off between firpo and tunny if anything jack johnson is more deserving than dempsey as he was active even if he wasnt fighting the b...
