Advertising on this site
Advertising is one thing but actively blocking my access to boxrec if i use an ad blocking browser, like TOR is super annoying. Now i only use this site as a last resort if i can't get the info anywhere else.

Re: More on the crooked hypocrisy of the sports drug testing racket
DwD - Do you raise racing greyhounds? Once I met a girl who did. She took me to the stable and I heard them all singing in unison, like wolves howling. But when I walked in they immediately stopped and looked embarrassed. They were so friendly they began jumping on me, but they were such solid musc...

Re: More on the crooked hypocrisy of the sports drug testing racket
The whole Norwegian Olympic skiing team is officially allowed to use steroid inhalers for their "asthma". Poor "sick" people beating healthy ones. Like half of endurances athletes have asthma. Though I have heard that breathing in cold air for extended periods etc, would could m...

Re: Fight Of The Month January 2018

Re: Fight Of The Month January 2018
I know, january wasn't a stellar month in boxing, and Usyk V Briedis was clearly the best fight of the month, or was it? How many times have you watched it, personally i've only watched it the once, whereas i've watched the other two multiple times, I'd never call it boring but a 12 round fight with...

Fight Of The Month January 2018
Three candidates here: Oleksandr Usyk V Mairis Briedis, Adam Kownacki V Iago Kiladze, and maybe my favourite Isaac Dogboe V Cesar Juarez.

Fighter Of The Month January 2018
Safe to say there's only two candidates here, Oleksandr Usyk and Errol Spence Jr, but which of the two should get top spot? Usyk for victory over the BoxRec No.2 ranked Mairis Briedis, or Spence Jr for victory over the then ranked No.7 Lamont Peterson. Oleksandr Usyk was Ranked No.1 cruiserweight by...

Re: Prime Tyson vs Prime Wladimir Klitschko
Ali would've had a field day getting in Tyson's head. Later on he would have yes, but not the prime 19, 20yr old fully focused Tyson. Mike Tyson has always been a mentally weak person. He didn’t organically become that way. He was protected by adults during his teenage years and (during that period...

Re: Prime Tyson vs Prime Wladimir Klitschko
A 20yr old Tyson hungry for success who does nothing but eat sleep train and study boxing beats everyone. Ali once turned up at floyd pattersons gym with lettuce and carrots saying that from now on floyd would be known as the rabbit, imagine what would have happened if he tried that with Tyson!!!

Re: breaking down BOXREC's pfp rankings
I agree any p4p list with Horn in it at the moment is flawed but to say he sucks just makes you look like a troll, the jury is still well and truly out debating over how good he might be, hopefully he gets a legit top5 guy next so he can prove himself, one way or the other. And Canelo is clearly the ...
