Re: Another trivia question

Well done!

I didn't realise Joe Gatti was known as "Lightning" until I watched the Arturo Gatti v Richard DeJesus fight recently & noticed one of the cornermen had Joe "Lightning" Gatti on the back of his jacket.

Well done again!

Another trivia question

Which 2 boxing brothers had nicknames that linked them together (e.g. "Salt" & "Pepper")....for every wrong answer I'll post another clue.

1st clue - the younger brother made his pro debut on the undercard of his elder brother's fight in 1991

I'm guessing, given the era and the weight division, maybe the Krays?

Marvin Camel vs Roddy McDonald, may 83. Inaugural vacant ibf-cruiserweight titlefight. Right off the top of my head of course😜just wasn't sure if it was rocky macdonald or roddy mcdowall. Is it even that one or some trick behind the question? Close. Camel vs McDonald was 13th Dec 1983, but the titl...

It had to either Hagler or Holmes. Pretty sure it's Hagler/Scypion I think you're right with Hagler / Scypion. Originally I was looking for Bobby Berna vs Seung-In Suh for the vacant IBF junior featherweight title on 04/12/1983 (because this, originally, was a query submitted to The Ring magazine i...

Well done! The Ring reported him as having "...the number 22 shaved into the back of his head. In his homeland, this would serve as a warning of a crazy man" - so if it was a tattoo - apologies for my misleading clue.

Re: Trivia question

Bernard Paul. Born on october 22nd and looking for win number 22 when he fought hatton? No sorry - but again excellent reasoning! Clue 3: The fighter in question's bout with Hatton was the only time he fought in the UK and he only fought twice outside of his home country again after the Hatton fight.

Just a guess
Not the right answer, but good reasoning

First clue - the fight took place before (but not immediately before) the Maussa fight
